Event at Stonecrest Library to Feature Stories, Musical Performances and More
DECATUR, Ga. – (June 13, 2023) – DeKalb County Public Library is hosting Juneteenth: A Celebration of Freedom to reflect, learn and celebrate the resilience and achievements of the African American community. The program will include readings, food, poetry, stories and a screening of the PBS documentary Juneteenth Jamboree: How We’re Celebrating Now.
It will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Stonecrest Library. Stonecrest Library is at 3123 Klondike Road, Stonecrest, Georgia 30038.
The event is free and open to the public.
