Are you interested in learning English? Do you want to work on your reading, writing, and pronunciation? The information below is a great start for your language needs!
English as a Second Language (ESL) classes provide basic through advanced instruction in the speaking, reading, writing, grammar and syntax of English for speakers of other languages. We offer free ESL classes at many library locations, as well as a virtual class. Click here for a full schedule of ESL classes at our libraries.
The Library provides print and audiovisual materials for ESL students and tutors; computers with links to learning resources; and space for tutoring, classes and meetings.
We also lend test preparation books for the TOEFL. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) measures the ability of non-native speakers of English to use and understand North American English as it is used in college and university settings. More information is available at the Official TOEFL Website: toeflgoanywhere.org
Mango’s unique teaching method quickly engages you in real conversations between two native speakers. Your instructor will take you through every step of the process! Each lesson revisits previously learned material, but you have complete control over your learning experience. Choose from 71 languages including English.
