Discover Hublet Tablets

Hublet Tablet Sta­tions are now avail­able at the Cham­blee, Clark­ston, and Hair­ston Cross­ing libraries. These sta­tions offer a portable way to access the library’s dig­i­tal resources from any­where in the branch.

Why use a Hublet?

  • Free­dom to Move: Take the tablet with you to a study room, com­fort­able chair, or work desk with­in the branch.
  • Sup­port for Stu­dents: These tablets are ide­al for stu­dents doing home­work, tutors work­ing with stu­dents, or groups col­lab­o­rat­ing on a team project. 
  • Built-in Learn­ing Resources: Enjoy instant access to Brain­fuse for home­work help, Man­go Lan­guages, Lib­by, Explo­ra, and oth­er library apps.
  • Tools for Suc­cess: Use job-search resources, read dig­i­tal news­pa­pers and mag­a­zines, and access research data­bas­es wher­ev­er you are sitting.
  • Safe and Secure: Brows­ing his­to­ry and per­son­al data are erased the when the tablet is returned to the dock.

How to get started:

  • Scan: Use your library card at the Hublet sta­tion to release a tablet.
  • Explore: Use the tablet any­where inside the library.
  • Return: Slide the tablet back into the dock when you are finished.

The Hublet Tablet Sta­tions were pur­chased with a Dig­i­tal Con­nec­tiv­i­ty Grant pro­vid­ed by Geor­gia Pub­lic Library Ser­vice (GPLS) through a Cap­i­tal Project Fund grant award­ed by the Geor­gia Tech­nol­o­gy Author­i­ty using Amer­i­can Res­cue Plan Act funds.
