Introduction to Mindfulness

 Do you feel pushed around by your thoughts and feelings? Do you find yourself living life on auto-pilot? If so, come learn about the basics  of mindfulness--a practice that helps you learn to how to be more present in the moment and be less judgmental. In this introductory seminar, you will learn the basics of mindfulness, its health benefits , practice some mindfulness exercises, and discuss ways to incorporate mindfulness into our everyday lives.Taught by Elizabeth M. Neri, therapist at Metropolitan Counseling Services, Inc.
