The app is NOT located in the Kindle App Store.

How many items can be checked out at a time?  10 There is no limit to the number of eMagazines that can be checked out at a time.  
How long is the checkout period? 

Any checkout period up to 7, 14, or 21 days.

There is no checkout period.  eMagazines do not have a due date. 
Can I place holds on items?  You can have up to 10 holds at one time.  You do not have to place holds on an eMagazine; eMagazines are always available.
When a hold becomes available, how long do I have to borrow before the hold expires? 72 hours after notification with option to set for automatic checkout Not applicable
Can items be renewed?  Items can be renewed once during the original checkout period if no one else is waiting for it. eMagazines do not need to be renewed.
Can I accumulate overdue fines? NO - items are returned automatically.  NO - you may keep eMagazines in your account indefinitely.
